WHO WE ARE

Since 2001, Author & Finisher International has been dedicated to the empowerment of individuals, & families through education, ministry, & service. In August of 2006, A&F became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Tallahassee, Florida. The corporation maintains a "Hand Up" & not a "Hand Out" philosophy, a philosophy instilled by Co-Founders, Mary C. R. Ard'is and H. "Dez" Ard'is. We are a marketplace organization that exists to enhance individuals lives by discovering the gifts & talents hidden within. Author & Finisher International is a member of ICCC ( International Christian Chamber of Commerce) & The Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.

OUR PURPOSE

Author & Finisher International continues to empower individuals with seminars in the areas of personal growth, family restoration, & entrepreneurship. "Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established (on a sound and good foundation) And by knowledge shall its chambers (of every area) be filled with all precious and pleasant riches." Proverbs 24: 3-4 (AMP)

The Seminar "What's In Your Hand" is based on Biblical principles to instill in young people a desire to acquire godly Wisdom, and knowledge to live a more determined & focused lifestyle.

 

 

"Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." "Dez" & Mary Catherine

It is our heart intertwined with HIS heart that has given us this beautiful vision. "Dez" & I are truly honored to be the hands, & feet of HIS agenda at this special time in HIS Kingdom. We have traveled extensively across the world to places such as: Bahrain, Canada, England, Germany, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morroco, Saudi Arabia (3.2 years), Senegal, South Africa, & Switzerland. It's a beautiful sight to see all of FATHER's creation. We have been married for 28 marvelous growing years. We've been blessed to raise two sons, Dezmond (24), & Dominick (19) and later identical twin nephews Joshua Allen & Jacob Michael (25) and have watched them all grow to exhibit godly wisdom and integrity. We have served in the past as marriage counselors (military), youth ministers, young adults minister, men's ministry president, Big Brothers, Big Sisters ( Frederick, Maryland ), President of the Board for OPM-SANG's Child Development Center (Saudi Arabia), and numerous other activities. We are so thrilled to be a part of training the next generations to take their rightful places in whatever FATHER has blessed their hands to do! Blessings!
